Scab - growth on cats cheek

I noticed a scab like growth on our female cats cheek. Pretty close to her whisker. can not tell if its because her brother scratched her or its due to a health condition.

Some general info that might help:

1.Overall healthy cat - had chin acne issue ( nothing major ) - it is much better now.
2. She is a fully indoor ( so is her brother)
3. The spot doesn't hurt when we pet her - she let's us touch it.
4. It feels like scabs/bumps
5. No major hair loss, but there is like a hollow area ?
6. No change of behavior or appetite

I'm posting a picture hoping it would help . We are planning to have the vet visit soon. Its just hard catching her (semi feral) - sedation med consultation call is scheduled 2 weeks from now.

Any thoughts on what this might be ?

It's difficult to see because she is so dark but it does look like a healing wound to me. Doesn't look like there is any swelling or infection and it looks dry so I would keep an eye on it to make sure it doesn't get any bigger or start to weep.
