I just saw Carmelo's new pic and he is getting big! How well are they all interacting?
Yes, he is growing fast. When we had him neutered on October 10th, he was 14 pounds. I just weighed him, he is 31.5 pounds now. They all get along very well. Since we brought him in the house as a very small cub, all the other cats, including the domestics, got to show him who is boss, so he still respects that. Of course, Amber and Boris are his best pals. The only domestic that I worry about is our oldest, who is 16. Not that he would intentionaly hurt her, but he can get a little carried away if we are not there to supervise. When we are not home, the cougar goes into his own room or we will put the oldest girl in the room and let Carmelo have free run of the house.Originally Posted by gemlady

No, he will stay in the house as long as possible, about a year. This is the most important time for him. This is his bonding time with us. If we would put him outside now, he would not get the socialization that he needs. As you will see in the following pictures, he is getting all the socializing and bonding that he wants. He is so much fun, that we can forget what he really is at times. It is almost like having a dog. He loves to play tug-o-war with one of his blankets. You throw a toy, he will go fetch it. However the best part, is all the cuddle time he spends with us. He will actually put his big paws around you and hug as he purrrs you to sleep. Oh and he LOVES his kisses full on the muzzle. Anyway, here are the picturesHe sure is getting big! Changed your mind about keeping him outside yet, John?

Thanks for sharing all these wonderful pictures!!! I really really enjoy them and have all my kids come take a peek.
I love those huge feet as well and they are so warmI just love those big paws! (okay, I admit it. I have a fondness for kitty feet. )
No, I have since included all the pictures of my exotics here. I never knew this page would have grown so big. It was just meant to be a welcome home for Boris. I should have given it a name to include all the exotic furkids.I love when you post new pictures of your exotics. Does Carmelo have a page similar to Boris'?
I can't believe I didn't have any new ones of them. I am off tomorrow, so I will try to get some more pictures. What a lovely fix, John! But you're right, we need some Boris and Nakoma, too
