I've been cleaning Poppy's litterbox with a spray of vinegar + Dawn + water. I want to change the vinegar + Dawn to Sal Suds.

Is it safe to clean a litterbox with Sal Suds?

I had to look up what Sal Suds is: Sal Suds Biodegradable Cleaner

It contains essential oils which I would be hesitant to use around a cat.

Hot water and dish soap, maybe a bleach soak and a thorough rinse, is enough to clean a litter box.

I scrub our litterboxes with Dawn and water, then spray with vinegar, and then leave it in direct sunlight for a few hours.

I'm hesitant to use commercial cleaners on any part of my house because of the cats. I even clean my floors (vinyl and laminate, I understand some floors will not do well with this method) with a water/vinegar/Dawn solution.
