You can always try the Renew Life brand of S Boulardii. That's what I use for my cat since the tapioca starch in the Jarrow brand doesn't agree with him. I dont think it has a taste either. Betty takes SB twice a day to help manage her IBD. So yeah. Maybe excessive for you. But essential for me.

What we have done is to split the daily amount into quarters and that makes him not notice it. Also immediately stopped the diarrhea so we had to persist.

Is there special feline S. Boulardii? Or is it the same as the human kind just at a smaller dose?

There isn't a special "feline" S. Boulardii. You can use the human kind, but be sure to adjust the dosage according to your cat's size and weight. However, it's best to consult with your vet before giving any supplements to your cat.
