I am trying to keep myself busy since yesterday. We need to do some work in here. It can wait but I am trying to keep busy and looking for ideas.
The litter pans are in the laundry room which was the garage. There is a 5x8ft rug that I have to replace. What type of fabric/weave should I look for? I need something that is easy to vacuum b/c of the litter. The walls are gray but that might change. I am more interested in color that will mask the dirt than match the room.
The other room is the basement/family room. It's not plush rugs. Not sure if they are indoor/outdoor or industrial. We have cream couches and the walls are sour cream(white as DH says). We have light to dark wood items in the room. I think when we get a new coffee table and end tables they will be medium wood. The french door frame is medium wood. I wonder if the tile under the small padding will have to come up b/c of the years of pee. I hope not b/c that's a HUGE project and hoping for a one day job. The tile is on the cement and then small padding and this ugly rug. Just not sure what kind or color to go with. We might have to lug a lawnmower through this room in the future. Our neighbor handles both yards but they have plans to move in a few years.
I would love to hear some of your color ideas.
