River, the Bengal with FiP

Today I has to let River go to the rainbow bridge. He was only 5.5 months old, and very sick. We noticed his breathing was shallow last night, on top of his not eating or playing and skeletal body. The vet drew out liquid from his lungs before we made the decision. He also had a fever of 105.6.

River was only in our home for a few months, but will be in our hearts forever, and I know he's happier now. FiP is a horrible disease

Cyber hugs coming your way.  Our sweet Strider (6 months) was just diagnosed yesterday...we are in shock, but want to do what is best for him...coming to this forum to get advice and support.
