Ringers Solution Bag Not Full

I have been administering subq fluids to my CKD kitty for a year now. I just opened a new bag of Ringers and noticed when I hung it up that it is already on the “1” line, when it is usually on the “0”. There doesn’t appear to have been any leakage. Should I be concerned? I am a bit OCD about my cat, but just thought I would ask.

Where do you get your supplies? Can you contact them and ask or, preferably, take it back and get the bag replaced? I know nothing about these things, but if it were me, I would not want to use it.

I used LR for a long time for my GSD. Currently I have two unused bags at home and both are filled well beyond the 1 level. Call and ask your supplier. It doesn't take a massive hole for the solution to leak out slowly.
