Only questions with a yes or no answer are permitted. If you've heard this one, don't post the answer.

A MAN IS FOUND DEAD NEXT TO A SMALL PUDDLE OF WATER. HOW DID HE DIE?

I find this one a bit silly, but my husband thinks it's great. You can decide for yourselves once you get it!

I love this riddle and since I know the answer I won't post any questions. However... I've always heard the riddle phrased differently?

I'm not surprised!
I used to play these riddle games a lot, and it seemed like everytime you played with a new group of people, there was a slight variation in how the others traditionally posed the question (and sometimes in the answer, too!). You'd also get a couple of people who new the answer going off to a corner to debate how a question ought to be answered!!
When this one is solved, post for the rest of us how you've heard it said, and what the anwer was!

Darn it. This is going to go fast, I can see.

Yes, he was bleeding.

Yes, the water used to be ice.

Yes, the room was empty.

Actually I think the way that I heard it asked would make it WAAY easier to figure out. So this is better.

Darn you. Yes, the man was stabbed with an icicle. Sigh! I'll post the next one tonight. See you then!

Sure, you mean it was a different answer, too? If it'll be a whole new riddle, not just a different phrasing of the same one, sit on it until after I post and we solve riddle 5. That way you can spearhead riddle 6!

Well it WAS a different answer but it'll probably be easy to get. Still want it to be riddle 6?
