Rice heaters?

I have heard yall mention rice heaters. What is that and how does it work?

i use them, make them,. and send them with all my babies to new homes (even big kitties like them) just make sure you dont use minute rice. doesnt seem to work as well

And WHATEVER you do...DON'T heat it too long!!!! I did, because I thought I rememberd 3 minutes, and it's like 30 seconds. Well, burned rice makes the house smell for DAYS!!!!!
