Rescued Semi-feral Cat With Extremely Hard Teats

She unfortunately doesn’t have access to her kittens right now (they got taken prematurely by some overzealous employees at the store they were at), but her teats are very hard, and kind of disk shaped.

Should I be worried? I might be getting some of the kittens back to finish weaning them, or I might not. I tried to impress on the manager that four weeks is waaaaaay too young to separate them from mom, but it was pretty obvious that he didn’t give a flying poodle one way or the other.

The employees really shouldn't have done that, because kittens need their mothers when they are born. You should take the mommy to a vet to check her out.
