I have been rescuing cats for a few years, and recently I have taken in a stray cat that turns out to have an urgent medical problem. He has bladder stones and they are creating a blockage making it hard for him to urinate, and despite conservative treatment he is having a harder and harder time going. He needs urgent surgery to insert a catheter and have the stones flushed out. This cost would be anywhere between $600 - $800. He has already had $200 spent having the problem diagnosed and trying treatment involving antibiotics and a special diet. I don’t have the money for the surgery, because I have been spending so much money on all the other strays that end up at my door, combined with how large of an expense this is. If anyone could donate it would be very much appreciated! If he can't get the surgery I will have to put him down soon, as he is suffering, and will die soon as he seems to have progressed to a complete block now.
