red patches, looks like dried blood around spay incision.

She got spayed in 27th, yesterday we took her sutures out, and it looked fine at first.

Today, i found dry, red splotches around the spay incision that looks like dried blood. it doesn't seem to be painful because Rivel Let me touch on it gently and doesn't react.

She might have licked it a bit too much after the cone came off. Just keep an eye on it and if it gets worse call the vet.

The incision itself looks good. Just the little bit that still needs to scab over and heal is probably where the blood came from.

Yes, left a little opening for drainage. Should heal up pretty quick.
