here i am again with another question i would like to abuse other peoples knowledge for. Last year in August we got our first ever cat Nyx, but my family wasnt sure how it would go etc so we didnt get another cat shortly after (which would have been the best for a young cat , i know now). Nyx is about 1 year old now and i finally convinced my parents to adopt a rescue cat so she has a feline companion. The new cat is 7-8 months old when we will get her (21st May) , lives with other cats at a spanish shelter and roughly similar in weight and size (both around 3.5 kg) . We bought a new litter box , scratchpost and a netted door for a seperate room. Any recommendations how we should handle the introduction? I have heard of scent swapping and feeding them within visionrange of each other but how do i know when they are ready to get introduced?
