Well, thank you both! My sister sent me the recipe. When I mentioned that the spices were a bit strong, she said she loved it because she usually doubles the amount of spices called for in pumpkin pies and such! So this recipe was perfect for her. Everybody's taste is so different. I decided if I add a nice big scoop of vanilla ice cream, that will tone down the taste of the spices a bit.
