I just caught Cookie nesting in my bedroom. I noticed that her belly was convulsing and making rippling motions from the front to the back. The babies are moving A LOT. She followed me back into the living area and is under the stool she always sleeps under and is now eating some canned food I gave her.

She was acting strange today; more irritable and slept for most all of the day.

Could she be in labor? I want her to have her babies so badly!

It could also just be that I'm crazy and so excited that I'm making things up!

Looks like she fooled me again. She has just been lounging around ever since last night's events.

False labor... her body's practicing for the real thing. Also, she's secretly laughing at the silly human!

Try not to get too anxious
She knows your mood and will pick up on it--cats are great at reading body language!

But when IS the real thing? I know I'm being silly and over nervous. I saw her licking herself earlier and my mind went wild thinking it was because she was going to have the babies! The minute I let my guard down she will have them, so maybe I should!
