Norma-Jean has centered on rabbit and venison as her likes. Now she's just on the venison but previously I had divided her meals each day to one of each (different companies). Must I go through the usual process of introducing the old familiar rabbit and company, or can I just go back to that old familiar routine without weaning slowly back again.
Thanks for any help.
(Stay safe!)

You can just offer the rabbit again. No transition necessary.

If you can't do a food transition because your cat won't eat the old food, you can do what I call a naked transition. You do a transition with smaller portions of the new food as if the old food was still on the plate. The smaller portions softens the blow of a new food if it's been long enough since she last ate it. As long as she's got no other health issues, it's okay to underfeed her for a day or two to make sure her gut catches up nicely to the change. As long as she keeps it down and the next poop looks good, you can go back to regular portions on the new food.

No worries--she took to the old one like crazy. We're good to go.
Thanks for your kind remarks.
