Hello~~

I have two FIV+ sons (4 yr 3 mo.), who are also brothers, and I am very interested in feeding them raw. Honestly, if they didn’t have FIV, I would’ve taken the plunge by now. However, they do and I’m struggling to find any positive or neutral articles about raw feeding FIV+ cats. I made this account to ask for some or be directed to some vet pages that are pro raw feeding or both!

I’m only asking for pro or neutral because I’ve found a plethora of negative sources, not to mention the vets at my office.

Thanks!

Perhaps a homecooked diet would be best for your immunocompromised cats? Not raw but still homemade.

The thing is about being immunocompromised is if you get sick, it's more likely to be more severe and leave lasting effects. Cooking, gets rid of a lot of pathogens.
