I have read somewhere and now I cant find it that Ragdolls are to have a certain way of recieving there shots. Does anyone know about this. I am wanting to get a Ragdoll and want to make sure my Vet knows about this.
Thanks

Ragdolls mature slowly, and it is not recommended that they receive the intranasal FIP vaccine.Originally Posted by kansas

Yes Breed can make a difference in any animal. I have Papillons and they are very sensitive to Anestassia. My Vet is Knowledgeable of this Breed and made sure I was aware of this. Each Breed of Dog or Cat have Breed specific problems as well so it is nice to have a Vet that is aware of the Breed and not just if it is a Dog or Cat.Originally Posted by Jen
I don't see how one breed of cat can be any different then the next. There aren't too many options of ways to give animals a vaccine. SubQ or Intranasal are the most common... Breed shouldn't make any difference.
