Although she's technically a pointed domestic long hair, because we can't really know if she's either of these breeds, I would say she favors a Himalayan more so than a rag doll. Rag dolls are rather large, and their ears are more of a prominent feature than with Himalayans, also this kitty has very deep seal coloration which is found in Himalayan cats. The only thing of course is that she doesn't have the signature button nose or the rounded ears of the Persian (a Himalayan is just a pointed color Persian btw). Some do call this face shape the "original" or "traditional" Himalayan, dating back to when the breed was first brought around, although it is not recognized (yet) by most breeding associations. That again is why I would called her a pointed domestic long hair, with a look a like to a Himalayan. Very pretty girl :)

Without pedigree it is difficult to say BUT I can say she looks like my rainbow bridge pet Himalayan (Was registered with the CFA).

This is Monster - a misname since she was one of the sweetest cats. I called her that because as a kitten she would climb my leg when she was hungry.  Lost to congestive heart failure about 6 years ago.

Introducing Maddie to my Tortie Tinker. Fingers crossed! Any advice please?

She looks like a Ragdoll to me as Himalayans have the brachycephalic faces like Persians do. Ragdolls don't. But without a pedigree, she is probably just a mixed breed (or a Ragdoll cross) either way she is beautiful! [emoji]128522[/emoji]

S susantabby I don't know that much about breeds, but I do know a beautiful kitty. Maddie is a true beauty and so lucky to now have a forever home with you. She will love you forever for loving her. May you enjoy many, many happy years together.

Thankyou Mickey. Very kind of you. She is beautiful. I am trying to get her socialised with my Tortie Tinker. Got a bit too close for comfort today and a scrap broke out. Both taking time out now. Two beautiful kitties, hope they can get along eventually.
