I'm autistic and I have a lot of sensory issues. Two of the biggest are that the smell of chocolate and cut flowers both give me migraines which can last for days. How about a spice cake or some caramels? I love brown sugar.
Welcome to TCS! :wave3: I also get migraines so can relate. The two worst smells for me are cigarettes and perfume. However, there are other odors as well, e.g. house paint, deodorant, fragrant soaps or candles, etc. A spice cake sounds perfect.👍

DH surprised me with tulips. He's not the romantic type so I really appreciated them. And there's no fragrance either. ;)

All of the above bother me.
I can't do any kind of chemical or artificial scent, period.
The worst was during Covid my dog got skunked.
We tried everything, I mean everything, for days.
We finally sent him to the only groomer who was open.
She was working from home.
She sent him back to me with lavender perfume smell.
I prefered the skunk.

I was so sick I had to give him to a friend for nearly 3 weeks.
I couldn't even have him in the house.

:(

Same with scented cat litter.
Amazon sent it by mistake once.
I had to get my kids to leave it outside.
Then I gave it away.

The smell of chocolate and / or roses makes me want to die.
It's weird because I like the smell of roses, but I get sick regardless.

I'm way off topic but hello and thanks for the welcome!

I always have to specify to the groomer "fragrance free only." Not only did our dog get skunked once but the side of our house too. It was late at night so no groomers open. I called my neighbor who gave me several containers of Fresh Wave. It's made from natural plant oils so I had to try using it.

No worries, I'm off topic too now but glad you joined the site.
