Hello hello! Welcome to the first Tuesday of February!
Favourite Alcoholic Beverage? Least favourite?
And if you feel like adding, have any favourite meal pairings with said beverage(s)?
Favourites are home made cocktails, ciders (Apple, pear, strawberry etc) sparkling wine, Gingerbeer, and red wine.
The first four tend to vary between a wide range of foods, but with red wine, I love it with some quality chocolate
As for least favourite, I don't care for regular beer, funny enough! And not interested in coolers. I can enjoy white wine, but I'm much more pickier and often not a lover - I do like Riesling however.
Cream based liqueurs can be OK, depending. I like Kahlua and Godiva, but forever ruined with Bailey's after an unfortunate timing of bad stomach flu last time I had it. I was feeling a little off all day prior, but thought one glass would be fine (Smart, I know, but it was a special occasion at the time...) and lo' and behold. Started throwing up couple hours later, and the poor Bailey's was the one that came out for the first couple of instances. The flu itself lasted two days, and ugh, bad memories of horrible...you know. I can't taste a Bailey's anymore! Just nailed into my head and taste buds.
Other brands I actually have yet to try.
But anyway!
