15 years. I had lived in my previous home for 24 and even though I moved to a much larger home, the moving process was difficult. So I am here to stay.

We have physically been in our home for a couple of days shy of four years. We have owned it for 4 1/2 years. We will have it completely paid off this coming September, and, we hope never to have to move.
Congrats. It is a wonderful feeling to own your home free and clear.

I have owned this home for 5 1/2 years. I didn't move in right away (it needed some fixing up and customizing), and did so fairly gradually, so I can't say exactly when I officially moved in. I owned my previous home for 14 1/2 years, but, again, I moved so gradually that I can't say exactly when I moved out.

I have lived in this house for 24 years and I am ready to move. The stairs are taking a toll on my knees.

I'll have owned it 10 years in May, although we didn't move into it for another 6 weeks or so - it needed some work before it was habitable and even then we probably shouldn't have been in it yet

We moved in November 3, 1973, so we've been here almost 46 years. We paid it off in 30 years, but we're still paying for things that have broken down since, along with maintenance. At least brick doesn't need painting.

Over those years we've accumulated so much "stuff" that we would have to be removed with a steam shovel running full time for a year.

All my life, but I've moved out and gotten apartments several times in between. Now I'm back here again, but hopefully will be moving soon.
