It's a boiling hot shower for me, the hotter the better. And a shower wand with a long hose on it. I use a bath chair because I can't stand long, but I've noticed my other half is now using it, too. I can baste myself until the water heater gives up. Ahh, bliss!

I can relate. I remember when we got a new water heater a couple of years ago. Had such a battle with husband to turn up the thermostat. (Was too nervous to touch it myself inside the heater.) Yes, the water was hot, but it wasn't toasty! When I get in the shower I want the water so hot that I have to add cold water to it. He finally adjusted the thermostat.
