I haven’t had it in years but, Butter cake!

We have some German influences here and one thing they have that I have not seen anywhere else is something called Sugar Cake. Traditionally it is made with flour, mashed potatoes, molasses, brown sugar, butter and lots of cinnamon. Insanely delicious. I restrict myself to eating it at this time of year only. It's hard enough not to put weight on!

I have not. I haven't baked much except cookies for a long time. And I'm afraid it would be dietarily dangerous to make that stuff!

A cheesecake that I have made for years. A brown sugar graham cracker crust, a thick cheesecake layer and a sour cream topping. A pain to make but so good.

Without a doubt, it is a two-layer white coconut cake, with extra coconut. Honestly, for me, life doesn't get any better than that.
For Rick, it's always cheesecake. This year, he's really enjoying that strawberry swirl cheesecake (I bought it from Junior's in New York).

You can't really go wrong with cookies. My favorite Christmas cookie is Russian Tea Cakes.

Everything. I miss the cookies my Grandma used to make. They are labor intensive so I haven't tried. So it's a tie between Little Horns and Struffoli.
