Yes, I was married for 22 years, then divorced. We had a speaking relationship until he died three years ago. Social Security calls me a divorced widow.
Pam, just figured out you were married at 17. Wow!Rick and I have been married for 44 years.
Actually 16. I turned 16 in January, got married at the end of April, Rick turned 20 at the beginning of May, and our son was born in the middle of October. 1971 was a busy year.Pam, just figured out you were married at 17. Wow!
Don't tell me you're a fellow Capricorn? You're certainly organized enough to be one.Actually 16. That was a busy year, too.
Oh wow, you know what? I think we've been married 45 years! Imagine that! :anon:
Nope, an Aquarian. Jan 24. Although if you go by the addition of Ophiuchus, that moves some of the signs around a bit.....that makes me a Capricorn. Which makes sense once somebody gets to know me.Don't tell me you're a fellow Capricorn? You're certainly organized enough to be one.
I'm the 21st. Go team Aquarius.

I'd rather be Aquarius.....nothing against Capricorns in the slightest. But I'd rather be an Aquarian.

Believe me, neither one of us was mature at all and it was a long struggle. A child trying to raise a child is not easy at all. Had it not been for our parents, I don't know how we would have handled it. It was difficult. I remember taking care of our son, putting him down for a nap and then working on my homework. I graduated through a correspondence course (long story, suffice to say that Rick and I moved into a different school district and I refused to attend school there), but I did graduate and with my class and in my own school district. I made up my mind that that was the only way I'd graduate; it was my school or nothing...and I was serious. It was a hassle, but we made it. Our son attended my graduation; he was eight months old. The whole thing was hard, really hard. There is nothing worse IMO than children having children.Pam, can't believe you had a son when you were in high school. Kudos to both of you for having the maturity to handle that. I was trying to imagine how my parents would have reacted to something like that. It wouldn't have been pretty, that's for sure.
We're happy to have you on team Aquarius!

It's a great sign. I'm almost Aquarius & I have many of its traits.I'd rather be Aquarius.....nothing against Capricorns in the slightest. But I'd rather be an Aquarian.
Can't imagine how stressful your early days of marriage must have been. Living with parents I presume.
