Good morning
A few days ago, I went out and bought an external hard drive for my computer. It has 300 GB internal memory, but that fills up pretty fast with 20 GB of pictures, a bit of music, and a few games and basic applications. Then I got a 1 TB external, but with movies and a ton of music from iTunes, that's almost full
. So I went out a found a 3 TB external hard drive on sale for $145. Maybe this one will last a while longer
So I'm curious.....
How much room do you have left on your hard drive(s)?
On my internal one, I have 25 GB free out of 297. On my 1 TB I have 64 GB out of 931 , and so far I don't have anything on my 3 TB so it's still 2.72 TB free. It may look like the numbers are odd (297 isn't exactly 300), but what happens is the manufacturers see a GB as 1000 MB, but the computer calculates it as 1024 MB. So no space is missing, it's just a difference in calculation.
