I am getting ready to go to bed and hubby can not remember his Google Maps password. I will have to figure out the actual distance later. I flew from Chicago, IL to Rome, Italy in 1995. That is the farthest I have ever traveled.
You could just search - miles Chicago IL to Rome Italy. That's what I did! And it's 4815 miles, by the way. Further than I have been from home!

In all directions I've been 9443 miles from UK to Australia, 8349 miles from UK to Easter Island and 5713 miles from UK to Japan.

Stopped off at few places in between too.

I'm not sure how to measure the distance. But I've been to San Antonio, Dallas, and San Francisco from Upstate NY.

Been to Australia 3 times. (And Zew Zealand for 26 hours once. Not long enough) Both are about as far away from Maine as possible!
And I've lived in Maine my whole life and have never been to Canada. :flail:

Because I live on the East coast, my trips to California are further than my trip to Ireland at a little over 3,000 miles.

The longest road trip I've taken was just over 1,000 miles as the crow files but we probably drove closer to 1,500 miles because we took full day detours in opposite directions to see things. That was to Yellowstone National Park. The furthest I've traveled by plane was 2,500 miles. Funny enough, my two plane trips in opposite directions were both around the same distance. One was to Maui and one was to North Carolina.

the farthest i've been from home was during one summer many, many years ago. i drove from Virginia up to New Hampshire, cross country to Los Angeles -- stopping in Circleville and Cincinnati, Ohio and Denver, Colorado, then north through Oregon and Washington, crossed into Canada and to Vancouver, then on over to Calgary, back down into the US and down to New Orleans.
