Good morning!

OK, kids, we're having a big picnic for Memorial Day and you're all invited. What will you bring to the picnic?

I'll make BBQ chicken quarters on the grill. Are you bringing a side dish? Dessert? Chips and pretzels?

A friend just sent me a recipe for Dill Pickle Pasta Salad the other day. I'm making that this weekend. Normally I make my veggie pasta salad a lot during the summer and that's what I always bring to the church picnic. I make my own dressing for it. My other go-to is a Tortellini Caprese Pasta Salad.

Dessert, of course! I always bake a dessert whenever I'm invited to someone's house for dinner. One of my favorites is a double chocolate chip bundt cake.

Orzo salad, my favorite summer/picnic side dish! (Add the vinaigrette a bit at a time and taste.)

My sister made these awesome Portobello Mushroom sandwiches on a Panini bread. She put some special marinade on it an topped it with lettuce and Gruyere cheese. Boy, did that taste awesome!!! For dessert, I would bring a baked Peach Cobbler. YUM!
