Good morning!
And Happy Friday!
Rick and I were packing our lunches this morning and today we were making sandwiches; we don't often have sandwiches for lunch, but we were both hungry for them. He is a mayonnaise fan. I prefer mustard, any kind of mustard.
What's your favorite condiment for sandwiches or potato or pasta salad? Mustard, mayo, light mayo? How about Miracle Whip; does anybody use that? Horseradish? What's on your sandwich?
I must say that I do like Miracle Whip and, when I'm making potato salad or pasta salad, I will use part light MW and part light mayo in my base for my dressing. And it's always Kraft mayo, although I have been known to buy Hellmann's (Best Foods west of the Rockies). Duke's mayo isn't bad; we tried it one time when it was on sale and I had a coupon.
We have seven different mustards in the fridge....I do like mustard.
(Rick also said to me that most wives make lunches for their husbands. Evidently, he was talking to some guys at work and they got to talking about packed lunches. I know my sister would always make my BIL's lunch before he retired. I don't make Rick's lunch; at that hour, it's all I can do to make my own! But I guess that's another thread.
