betsygee betsygee I love Cathy!

Lemon sponge cake cookies. Lemon cookies with a decadent lemon frosting.
Sugar cake cookies. Just drop and bake.
King Arthur’s chewy chocolate chip cookies.
Sand tarts. I finally can roll them thin enough.

Shortbread, chocolate chip, & peanut butter are some of my favorites.

You can't go wrong with chocolate chip. I also love Russian tea cakes and these cookies my dad would make when I was growing up. They are basically a chocolate chip cookie, but he also adds butterscotch chips and walnuts.

It's another one of those things where I don't think I've met a cookie that I don't like, but what comes to mind instantly are those spicy windmill shaped cookies...I adore them. But then there's chocolate chip, oatmeal raisin,I make these cookies called jubilees, which are kinda like a thumbprint cookie but I fill the center with whatever jam I have plenty of.

Oatmeal raisin, chocolate chip, snickerdoodles, homemade shortbread, almond paste and almond filled with raspberry.

I do a bunch of baking at Christmas and only one of those gets made then. And only then! (The almond raspberry.)

oh yes they are!So darned good!
I haven't seen those windmill cookies in ages. They are so good.

Does anyone else remember when cookies were sold loose in a case? I'm pretty sure they were Voortman brand. I used to work in grocery stores in NY starting in the mid 80's until 93. They were in all the stores back then. They were so good.
