Hello,
I have a question about the cold weather and cats. We have 3 cats...
one which was a feral (but is quite tame now), she is mainly outside only - comes in rarely.
two kittens (about 5 months) who come inside when we get home from work and on teh weekends, but they sleep outside. Our weather has been getting quite cold here at night (20's to low 30's). They have nice beds in our garage, and we do have a heat lamp out there as well for them, but my worry is, that they come in when we get home from work and spend about 4-5 hours in the nice warm house, then go outside to sleep - does the drastic change of temp harm them?
I did discuss this with my vet, and she said no, it didn't hurt them to let them in and out in this weather. Just wondering how everyone else feels about this.
