I saw it in Petco the other day. I looked like it was mostly broth to me with some shredded chicken. It really looks like a smaller, more liquidy version of Soulistic's Good Karma or Weruva's Paw Lickin Chicken. I passed on it.

I agree. That is exactly what it is. As a matter of fact, Petco had them in the treat aisle. All 3 of my cats adore the freeze dried Pure Bites chicken. We'll stick with that. I get the big bag intended for dogs through my Amazon subscribe and save.
I've seen these and have also passed on them. If you look at the guaranteed analysis (http://www.purebites.com/en/products/cat/whole-food/chicken/), the moisture content is 87% max. Each container is about 30 calories. It's just a very expensive treat, IMHO.
I wish that they would move Applaws to the treat aisle as well. None of their foods (in the U.S. at least) are nutritionally complete/balanced, and the thought that customers who don't read labels carefully may end up feeding these foods as a complete diet really scares me. The employees at my local stores don't seem to know much about the brand, and just assumed that the canned foods were nutritionally complete!
