Has anyone heard of a cat being allergic to Probiotics?
My cat has IBD and thought I would try a Probiotic. A few years ago I tried one but she seemed to have a reaction to it. I went Friday and picked up a different brand to try again.
Since starting this one she is doing the same thing she did with the other one, swollen face rubbing her eyes but other wise acting normal. I have had to give her Diphenhyramine a couple of times since starting the probiotic.
She is a cat that is pretty much allergic to everything but one brand of food and flavor.
I also started my feral colony on it last Friday and some of them seem to be having a problem with it. Two cats who have problems with swollen lips and paws, now have even bigger bottom lips and the one cat has swollen paws that look bad.
I can't find anything where a cat was allergic to probiotics so was wondering if anyone else had a cat that couldn't take it for one reason or another.
Thanks
