Bobcat sort of hobbles across the end of the driveway last October. I'm not very smart, so, I go and catch him in a fish landing net. Put him in a pen to observe for a few weeks to be sure he doesn't have rabies, and make a few calls to see what could be wrong with him.
I'm told he's about 4 months old, probably just starving because he's not old enough to hunt on his own. Something probably happened to his momma.
Starving was the problem.
We've been taking care of him since October and he's now a fat, healthy, pretty cat.
Should be able to hunt on his own and take care of himself by April.
I'll set him free in April.
