I trapped a feral cat a little less than a month ago. I've assumed she was pregnant since then because I always saw her with another feral male.
I'm starting to doubt myself now because today she is "trilling", rubbing on everything, rolling around, and sticking her butt in the air and marching her back feet around.
Her nipples are bigger than my indoor spayed cat's (who has never had kittens). They're probably about half the size of a tic-tac and slightly darker pink than her skin. Her belly does hang down a bit (but I know she's had multiple litters before so I don't know if that contributes) and she has put on weight since I caught her. But she's also been well-fed. She's a very small cat so it's hard to tell. Also she won't let me touch her because she's afraid of me so it's hard to do a thorough inspection.
Has anyone ever experienced heat symptoms in a pregnant cat?
