My cat have pinkish/brown discharge come from her vulva on Sunday. Her vulva is always wet and she is always chirping, meowing. On Monday she went to the vet and they confirmed that she is 9 weeks pregnant and she should be giving labour soon. There is no kitten yet but yesterday around 11pm in United Kingdom there was a brow/white discharge from her vulva? She went into heat in January and now we are at 10 march 02.39am in the morning and there is NO KITTENS STILL? What shall I do?

If she is not in distress, just be patient. It sounds like she may have lost her mucus plug last night. Unless you know exactly when she mated, the kittens may take a few more days. Nine weeks is 63 days. Normal cat pregnancy can easily go to 68-70 days.

Look for signs of labor (pinkish discharge, ripples down her sides, vulva opening), and keep us posted. If nothing happens over the weekend, ring the vet next week.

If her discharge turns bloody or all brown, or she pushes for an hour with no success, you may have an emergency on your hands and need a vet right away.

Her waters just broke 5 mins ago
So it will prob be soon, but not even this is sure...
We had forumites where the delivery delayed after the water broke, but it went OK anyway....

Its a little worrying, it is, but as said, we had forumites when gone water without delivery, was NOT disastrous...

Do you have access to an experienced vet? knowleable with cat obstetrics?

Water can break and kittens will be okay. There are 2 sets of waters — an overall water bag and each kitten is in its own sac of waters.

Does your cat appear to be laboring?
