Cats tend to go to the nest at the last minute to deliver. Mine slept in bed with me while laboring all night, then suddenly jumped up with a big moew, and ran in the other room to her nest. By the time I got in there, her first kitten was born in the nest.

But, cats being cats, they can be very unpredictable!

I think she vomited. It can happen before birth. Just make sure it's either vomit or poop. (I once had a pregnant cat throwing up a green hairball in the litterbox on her dueday, which she had never done before. Due to the color and the long wait, we took her to the vet instantly, taking the weird green thing with us (I thought it was a misformed kitten). My vet laughed at me for like an hour, and send us back home. Haha.)

She does sound a little restless, if she is meowing a lot. Keep us posted!

She won’t let us near it.
She’s got the vets at 5, as working it out she hasn’t been outside since jan 3rd, and if she got pregnant on jan 2nd she’d be 67 days. So as a precaution she’s going to be seen, as she’s showing barely any labour approaching signs and I’m starting to panic.
(Picture of her bum attached) sorry it’s vile.

Scruff her at the back of the neck and hold a warm, damp cloth to her sore bottom. Then apply vaseline or oil. She will feel so much better. This won’t take long and will give her quick relief.

Seeing the vet is okay, although she is not overdue and will probably have them in the next few days.

Except for her sore bottom, things sound normal.

Edit: Put her where she absolutely cannot get outside!!!

I won’t let her outside, will scruffing her at the back of the neck not make her scared?

Scruffing will hold her still so you can put a warm damp compress on her bottom, then apply oil.

Holding the scruff immobilizes cats.

I know it immobilises them, but I don’t want to make her frightened? X

I’ve done it and she’s gone to sleep in one of her nesting boxes :) which she’s beem avoiding non stop since they went down. She’s got the vets at 5, but Atleast I know she’s comfortable for now. The vet on the phone said possibly section or oxytocin, will they keep her in overnight?

It does not sound like she needs a C-section OR oxytocin.

Why? Because she is not overdue, nor is she laboring or in distress.

Please skip the vet today and let your cat proceed normally with her pregnancy. Do not borrow trouble!
