prednisone question if your cat took it

Just curious
DId anyone's cat ever have to take prednisone for a few weeks AND it cleared up the issue, resolved it and it never came back?

Pred is a medication that can be used on a limited basis for a certain period of time, the animal weaned off of it, and hopefully whatever it was used for might be resolved. So, yes, it is possible but it depends on why the cat is taking it in the first place and if the doctor indicated that it was to be used temporarily.

Prednisone is a steroid, it helps with inflammation. What is your cat on Pred for?

Just a note, cats shouldn’t take prednisone but prednisolone

The thing that helps mine the best for unknown vomiting is a Cerenia injection.
