Im really worrying now guys. I stopped getting replies in my last thread about Kali's eye removal but I still have questions.
Its been 5 days since she had her last proper meal before her surgery (eye removal and desexing). Since shes been home she hasnt eaten. After 2.5 days I bought Hills A/D food and tried syringe feeding her but she has put up a major fight. She's really disoriented from losing her eye. I have bought tuna, salmon, mackerel, chicken breast and just nothing. Im completely broke after paying $1200 for the surgery but my vet saw her today and only charged me $15! Thank god for compassionate people. She said kali is healing really well. Her spay incision is perfect and her eyes swelling has completely gone down. She was a bit dehydrated so she gave her some fluid, a vitamin b12 shot plus a penicillin shot to help her recover. She didnt have a fever so she doubts she has any infection which is good. Shes also allowed to have her cone of shame off during the day when we can supervise her but she was struggling to adapt from the loss of her eye.
Im so worried. I dont know what to do. I boiled chicken and she wasnt interested. Shes gone from 4.1kgs before the surgery to 3.25kgs. Any suggestions would be amazing!
