I'm sure someone else out there has a stub-tailed cutie, so post your pics of them here! (Or, if there is no tail at all)

Here is my stumpy girl, Poodle kitty:

Anyone else?

Her tail was infected as a kitten with cheatgrass, and had to be amputated, but that was before we adopted her.

Isn't that the "legend" behind the Manx cat? Isle of Man - Manx.

There's no place like home
Here is Stumpy. We found him at about 4-5 weeks old with his tail chopped off (it was still bleeding from his mishap). He is our alpha cat (age 10) who took over when our manx Max crossed about 8 years ago. We joke that you need to be tail impaired to become an alpha cat in our household.

Here is our beautiful Much who is a manx. The manxes developed the short tails because they were an isolated population which had this deviation show up there.

I like the title of your thread - it's one of my pet peeves when people call their cats Manx's but their not. Some beautiful kitties in this thread!

In a state of insanity :)
I just had to post these 2 in this thread. The first one is Little Girl this is Mom and Spideycat's Cat. She was born this way. So is a true stubby

The other cat is Sammycat also a true stubby. Though the only picture I have of him does not show his backside. Most of you remember the one of him climbing into a cat tree that shows off that area very well

I have a stumpy tailed baby, but I don't have any pics with his stump, so I'll have to get one.
