@MServant - Shadow just ADORES his cuddles...and is more than happy to have a face buried in his fur! He has that hyped up purr most of the time too - you know, where that extra tone comes into it, making it louder and more insistent. Its usually accompanied by drooling too
He loves being picked up for cuddles too...and always turns to give me a nose-to-nose kiss when he wants to get down

@Columbine , Mouse may look elegant in some of his photos but believe me - he has never mastered elegant in action.
I do love his RB lythe, muscular frame and the long legs and tail, but have to admit he is a little too well covered beneath his lovely fur coat (even after I have him on strict rations). I had never touched a double fur coat before I went to meet Mouse's parents, and couldn't believe how different it was to other cat fur. I have to admit Mouse does have a spectacular coat even by other Russian Blue cat standards, and it's what wins him his show points (along with his snuggly purrsonality). I wish more people could experience touching it as it is such a wonderful experience, such a shame most only see photos as the double fur is to be treasured.
I absolutely agree! Asha is the first single coated cat I've had since I was a kid. Her sleek silkiness definitely took some getting used to! I'll always have a soft spot (no pun intended - I promise!) for a snuggly double coat :nod: :heart3::9:
@MServant Life has been insane since I got back from my holiday... and it's only going to get crazier
Plus, Eddie is now asserting his dominance whenever Binx tries to play, and he doesn't want to. Binx backs down, with the cutest "but I just want to play!" expression... Eddie's horked up two hairballs in a month, so I'm figuring out how to fix that problem, and my medical issues got worse because some idiot rear-ended me.

It's been a while since I posted here! Conan's growing so much!
This is from when his brother Grinnie was visiting him. Conan is on the glass table and Grinnie in the chair below. They start to play fight and being that Grinnie is such a nice boy he didn't say anything
This is Conan about a week or two ago. They let him out often and he likes to climb the tree in the backyard.
This is a picture from yesterday. He's turning only 6 months this Sunday!
I'm so happy he's growing well. Big difference to when he was a small baby. So Throw back Wednesday to his babyhood! His little but fit inside the my cupped hand

Conan is looking very sleek and fit from all his tree climbing and other antics.... and by the look of that yawn of his yesterday, he is tiring himself out nicely.

I know! He's so handsome! My boyfriend's family really loves him a lot, so I'm very happy he has a good home. My heart just can't help but ache a little every time I remember I had to give Conan and his brother Binxie up

Yes, @MServant, how is Pudgy? Grumpy because he does not get all he wants to eat and forced into exercise aka as "play"? I've got one here too who has put on a bit of weight but he always does in the summer when it gets hot and he just lays around on the patio in the sun. I don't know how he can stand it, temps are in the high 90s and he seeks out the sun, lying on his back, legs splayed. The other cats are inside sprawled on the tiles in the hall and the A/C is running too. I have long ago given up to understand cats' behaviors.

Aw, thanks @MagiksGirl and @segelkatt , Mouse doesn't really get grumpy (though he does a good line in stink-eyes when I have my camera out). He's been super active this week as my lodgers were away for 7 days and he had the run of the whole apartment for a change. As Mouse tends to chew anything and everything paper or card and they have a lot of books in their room the door tends to be shut. When they go away on holiday or anything they make sure everything is safely away so the door can be open for him to check out his territory and know they are not hiding from him in there. This gives him almost another 1/3 length for his zoomies plus another window to look out from so he's been very busy. I can't say it's made any difference to his paunch but I don't really mind - it's kind of cute to nuzzle in to.
His two additional human servants arrived back last night so he is back to mooching for fish snacks and rolling about on the floor looking cute so he can get exrtra snuggles now. We figure rolling about on the floor looking for snuggles must be pretty good exersize so like to leave him squirming for a bit before anyone gets down to the floor for a belly rub.
No new photos so far this week, I'm giving him a rest after he was so good and posed for all those belly shots the other day. I love the sound of that heat-seeking kitty of yours segelkatt.
