I have two 4 month old kittens. They were dewormed on Tuesday. Since then one became super lethargic and as of yesterday stopped eating. Needless to say he spent his day at the vets office today, blood tests and X-rays were done. Blood test came back great, but X-rays showed extreme constipation! He got an enema.
I’m looking for ideas on supportive care now that he’s home. Any specific foods that could prevent this or anything that is easy on his digestive system? He is already on a wet food only diet and eats most fancy feast classics, Performatrin kitten (Canadian) and Weruva. Should I add water to his food? He is also on probiotics once a day since deworming, I wonder if that’s causing constipation?
