It sounds and looks like meningitis. Veraflox can treat bacterial meningitis but most strains are resistant to most medications and it's one of the only drugs left that has a hope of treating it. It is unfortunately very possible that it's viral and that FIP caused the menigitis. At this point, they waited so long to begin treatment that his odds aren't good even if it is bacterial. Early diagnosis and treatment are essential, and even then the prognosis is poor. I'm very sorry this has happened to Roo. At this point spending time with him and showing him how loved he is should be a big priority. I hope that you see an improvement with the steroids and antibiotics. Did they show you how to take care of his feeding tube?
