Pooping On Leather Couch

My cat keeps pooping and peeing on our leather couch when we go out of town. I know I need to clean it with something to get the smell out. I have used vinegar and some "Zero Odor Pet" and neither have worked because he keeps on doing it.
I know he does it because he is mad at us. When we are home he uses the litter box.
Please help, I am worried about hurting the leather.

How often do you go out of town? Is he alone when you're gone? Any other pets?

We go out of town maybe once a month. We have another cat and she doesn't do this at all.

You definitely need to use plenty of an enzyme cleaner, like dousing the peed on area of the chair, but you might want to see if you can find a leather expert to see what else should be done. And I would wrap the chair in plastic or a waterproof shower curtain when you are gone.

Does he get along ok with the other cat? Are the litter boxes cleaned regularly when you're away?
