Mine does. Like a dog. She runs to get various objects i throw, and hastily (within seconds) returns them to me in bed.

Mine does exactly the same lol His favorite is a spring.

No, he waits for me to fetch it...

I've seen other cats in real life do it though.

My cat needs to be in the mood. He'll bring me the toy and then I throw it over the loft so he can run down the stairs to get it and then bring it back up. He tried to get me to play at 3am a few nights ago. I pretended to be asleep.
