Dear all
I wonder if you could please offer me advice on a problem that is greatly distressing me and my family.
There is a stray cat in the neighbourhood that we have 'adopted', and recently it has become very clear that she is heavily pregnant. She has put on an enormous amount of weight, and must be due soon, since her stomach is hugely swollen, and she cannot even tuck her back paws underneath her when she lays down, but instead splays them out either side of her.
The problem is she has no signs of teats yet. I know that they should have been prominent by the third week, and certainly by this stage. We are greatly concerned about this. How is she to feed her kittens? Please offer us some advice.
