My sister's cat is 16 yrs. She is constantly peeing everywhere in the house. Sofa, Bed, carpet etc!!! They have taken her to the vet several times and he can find nothing wrong with her except possible age. Cleaning is not the issue any longer. They have a toddler grandchild crawling around. Is there some kind of natural procedure that they might try. I'm out of advice. Thank you so much

What is the litter box situation? How many boxes, what type of litter? When did this start? Were there any issues before? Have there been any changes in the house besides the toddler- pets, new people, etcetera?

Yes, please to the above questions.

There may be a bit of dementia going on, at her age. Cats can start showing signs of cognitive decline at around 10, with symptoms become more pronounced around her age. IF this is the case, there are kitty diapers available that are quite comfy, once a cat is adjusted to them. If she is a long-haired cat, and they decide on diapers, a sanitary shave might be appropriate.

LOL, editing to change the "they" to "you." It was a long night.
