Hi Everyone
For those of you who don't know about my other posts, my precious baby Smokie (8 year old tabby) has been sick and injured.
What started as an allergic reaction to a new brand of litter has become worse. His paws are getting worse, he isn't eating, drinking, or going to the litter box.
You touch him and he cries, and I wonder if it is just something that is wrong and not treatable (i.e tumor) I can't even pick him up without him crying, and hissing- that is not my baby!!!
Some background:
I brought a new kitten home (Bandit) and that is when smokie got sick- however bandit is a healthy, brat kitty lol-- was adopted from a shelter, checked out- all shots etc
I am worried about my baby Smokie, he is my precious child and I seriously just feel he is dying before my eyes - I can't handle it.
He is on antibiotics for an upper respiratory infection (caused by the litter change) - and he has no fever, and his infection seems to be better- but the paws are still hurting, sore, and they seem infected (im attaching a picture- what you can see of it)
I fear he is going to be dying quickly, or I will have to have him put out of his misery-- as a last resort, and I feel it is coming quickly as he is in contstant pain it seems and im unable to indespensibly pay vet bills.
Started on his one paw, and now is on all 4-- He was declawed as a kitten way before I got him (i dont agree with decawling-)
any help would be appreciated !! THANKS
