Please Help identify my new cat

As your nick says, your furry friend is a typical cat.  Ie a shorthair domestic, striped tabby in pattern.  Or mackerel tabby as is common to say in USA. The color will probably be labelled as brown - he is sooner grayish, but the stripes are black, that is why.  If they were a dark nuance of grey, he would be called for blue tabby.

Sweet kitten!

He reminds me of a childs song about a rabbit common in Sweden, very melodious so its easy to sing. lets me try to translate:

"Im a common rabbit, common but unusually fine, my ears are long and pretty, and they are moving as the ears should..."   Etc.

You see the likeness, no?     :)

I appreciate the response and the knowledge, Stefan. I also like the tune. His name is Cato (Kae-Toh) he's 12 weeks old.

You have a very cute kitty! He reminds me of my cat Stompers, but Stompers is a year old. :p
