We actually don't have them anymore. We gave all of our hogs away to people. They were becoming too expensive to feed and we are trying to save up for a house. Though I can still tell you what we fed them!
We would get bags of dry feed from the store. Cracked corn, sweet mix(which is corn and other grain mixed with molassas, very high in sugar), and hog feed which is very high in protein. I would take a scoop of each into a bucket and add water. The hog feed soaks up water making it more of a mush. Then they get to eat it.
Aside from that, we would keep a small bucket in the house that all of our table scraps went in. They would get that when full, as well.
@AlyssaM -- did you know that there's a mortgage program through USDA (rural development), for those who qualify? i'd be glad to give you more info, if you're interested in looking into it.
